About the Artist
How did you get started in photography?
My interest and desire for photography trace back to when I was in High School. It was around this time that a desire was realized in my heart and mind, the desire to commit to memory all the moments I could. I started taking an abundance of pictures during my first year of college and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Who is the photographer?
My name is Kendra. I am just a girl who loves God and enjoys taking pictures. God has allowed me to capture some beautiful moments, and through this site I hope to display some of these moments and maybe have the opportunity to capture moments in the lives of others!
I live along the "Emerald Coast" of Florida and thus have some of the most beautiful back drops in the world. I love taking pictures outdoors and using nature to accentuate the beauty of family, the excitement of children, and the treasure of love.

Why the name Son's Joy Photography?
Sonsjoyphoto came from my screen name. To me, it is where my identity comes from. I belong to the Son. He is where my joy comes from. I love to capture joy. When I see true joy on the face of another it is more than just mere happiness. This joy runs so deeply it can be seen shining through their eyes.
